Nick came home yesterday and informed us that he wanted to wear a tie to school on Friday. He said his friend Jonah told him it was national tie day (of course Jonah made it up). So he and his friends are all supposed to wear a tie to school today. Not with dress clothes mind you....with their regular school clothes. He was upstairs coordinating his outfits with Chris' tie selections for a couple of hours last night. Jonah kept calling....making sure Nick was straight about today. Jonah is real cool. Messy hair, swept across his face(mom owns her own hair studio...so it always looks just neat).....cool thrown together looking outfits. You know...slip on checkerboard vans....black dickie pants (sometimes shorts...even in the winter).... concert tee (kiss, ac/dc,etc.). The complete OPPOSITE of my Nicky. But you know what? They are really good friends. I think that's neat! Especially since Nick doesn't have many friends under 40. Nick thinks he is the coolest kid that walks the planet. He is the sooo sweet, mild mannered, respectful,and completely adorable! Total cutie patootie! And his family is just as great. Mom and dad are completely involved in their kids lives(he has an older brother). Nick is blessed to have Jonah at school to loosen him up a bit. Now Nick is cool by association. Hee Hee :)

That is the cutest picture I've seen in a long time! I love the look ... he should wear it to church Sunday so we can see it in person. I think George & Chris should dress like that Sunday to ... may even Jesse.
