This morning on the news there was a story about a man in Virginia Beach who killed his wife yesterday with a crossbow. Yikes! I found this very disturbing. Such pain...seems like it would have taken awhile to die. The news even mentioned that they lived on Polk Drive. Our friends the Taylors live on that street. I wonder if they knew her. Anyway....Nick just came home and said this woman worked at his school. She is a special education teacher. He said she even subbed for his class last year when his teacher was very sick. He is upset by this. He has lots of questions about why her husband would do this....and what is going to happen to him? They have a son too....sad......
